“Three Generations of Imbeciles Are Enough.”

By |2023-11-28T15:24:52+00:00November 28th, 2023|Theology|

One of the unknown connections between so-called "transgender" surgeries and forced sterilizations in early 20th century American history is the targeting of children with mental-health problems. Many people are now familiar with Miss Chloe Cole (top right.)  She is a young woman born in 2004 who went on puberty blockers at age 13. She had a double mastectomy at age 15. She is now suing Kaiser Permanente of California. The beginning of the lawsuit filed reads thus: "This case is about a team of doctors (i.e., the Defendants) who decided to perform a mutilating, mimicry sex change experiment on Chloe, then a thirteen-year-old vulnerable girl struggling with complex mental health [...]

Why Do Rad-Trads Keep “Guessing” Everything Right?

By |2023-11-06T21:02:59+00:00November 7th, 2023|Theology|

Why do trads keep guessing the outcomes correctly in nearly every issue happening in current events? I usually point out that conservatives and traditionalists understand truth better than liberals and leftists because we put evidence ahead of identity politics. I still think that’s the main reason why we keep “getting it” on so many current events in Church and State. But today, I want to explore some additional reasons. After talking to many traditional Catholics over the past three years, I can say with confidence that over well over 90% of them refused the COVID vaccine.  That number may be above 95%.  The vaccine is just one of a dozen [...]

QuickPod: The Urgency of the Pro-Life Movement

By |2023-09-18T14:56:19+00:00September 18th, 2023|Podcasts, Sermons, Talks|

The subtitle of this talk is: "A pro-lifer's C+ for God is better than an abortion doctor's A+ for Satan."  It's a talk I gave at the Trump Miami Hotel this weekend at a pro-life gala for a Crisis Pregnancy Center on why we must "Just Do It" in pro-life decisions while avoiding perfectionism. https://youtu.be/T6wcPL_8pbw?si=Kw-rlMcSu85olHNO

NFP Before Vatican II

By |2023-07-31T10:26:51+00:00August 1st, 2023|Theology|

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a way that many Catholics today space-out births of children based on their economic, social or medical reasons. Unfortunately, many Catholics also use NFP to decide when they are "done" having children, often based on lifestyle-preferences more than "grave reasons," as required by the Catholic Church.  On the other hand, some traditional Catholics today erroneously believe NFP didn't exist before Vatican II.  Pope Pius XII spoke about this aspect of the matrimonial-contract in an Address to Midwives on 29 October 1951. A small segment of his talk is copied below. His words are in italics and my commentary is found in orange-bold. The Bonum Prolis [...]

“The Pill” Kills More Than Surgicals

By |2023-12-30T02:50:30+00:00July 25th, 2023|Theology|

This post is not about the morning-after pill or RU-486. Rather, it is about the much more common form of birth control, frequently referred to as "The Pill."  We will be looking at all forms of Hormonal Birth Control (HBC) and combined estrogen-progestin oral contraceptives (COC.)  How does HBC and COC work? WebMD explains the three methods in which most HBCs and COCs function: "Hormonal contraceptives (the pill, the patch, and the vaginal ring) all contain a small amount of estrogen and progestin hormones. These hormones inhibit your body's natural hormones to prevent pregnancy in a few ways. Hormonal contraceptives usually stop the body from ovulating. They also change the [...]

A Woman’s Conversion on Birth Control

By |2023-07-04T01:02:03+00:00July 4th, 2023|Theology|

From Fr. David Nix:  This is a short conversion story written by a married friend. As you read it, notice how her own conscience comes into play with objective truth.  She writes... As a new Catholic, I quickly fell in love with the Rosary.  I loved the prayers, the meditations, the lovely beads. Not long into my devotional life with the rosary, as I was praying I had the fleeting thought, "Why am I not getting out of the Rosary what I think other people are receiving?" In the tiniest flash, the Blessed Mother's face was before me and I got the interior the message: "Birth Control." I had the [...]

Durable Power of Attorney Documents

By |2024-09-02T23:16:20+00:00March 8th, 2023|Theology|

There are many legal documents online similar to the one I created below.  However, even Catholic modifications to the average durable power of attorney documents miss the two main aspects of euthanasia: 1) Artificial Nutrition and Hydration.  Even the Vatican website (published several years before Pope Benedict XVI's semi-resignation) admits that artificial nutrition and hydration is always part of ordinary care in end-of-life decisions, provided the body can assimilate food and hydration (be it oral or artificial.)  As most of you know, the Catholic Church always requires ordinary care (food and water) but not always extraordinary care (eg a ventilation machine) in order to preserve life.  For example, intubation and [...]

The Shrewsbury Trial

By |2023-02-17T03:35:53+00:00February 17th, 2023|Theology|

Red Rose Rescue (RRR) is the group of pro-lifers who peacefully try to convince women inside abortion centers not to kill their children. One reason I joined RRR is because they are among the only pro-lifers I know who not only have it in their head—but also their heart—that the unborn child is just as much a child as, say, a toddler or teenager.  If this doesn't make sense, please read this most recent trial, in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.   It may move you to tears how we (including me) have all missed the humanity of the unborn child  Even those of us in the pro-life movement have missed the [...]

Live-Reporting On the Trial of Pro-Life Rescuers

By |2023-02-15T21:59:29+00:00February 11th, 2023|Theology|

by Will Goodman.  p/c Life Legal Defense Foundation Forward to this blog by Fr. David Nix:  I found out today that one of my arrests for my peaceful work inside abortion centers with Red Rose Rescue will go to trial in New Jersey on 10 March 2023 (just a few weeks away.) I will be tried with my friend Fr. Fidelis, depending on the outcome of his court case for similar work in Nassau County on Long Island. Will Goodman, our mutual friend from Red Rose Rescue, wrote the following from his eye-witness reporting from the court room outside NYC this week, and he gave me permission to publish it [...]

Why (and How) to Baptize a Miscarried Baby

By |2023-01-19T17:30:44+00:00January 19th, 2023|Theology|

The following was written by Alana M. Rosshirt in a 1958 production of Marriage: The Magazine of Catholic Family Living. Please open the pdf here to read about importance of baptizing miscarried babies, and how to do it.  Also, free to print it. Although the above pdf is the main thing that I hope you will read in this blog post, I want to mention a few more things about baptism.  The following canons from the new code of Canon Law (released in 1984 under Pope John Paul II) reveal some of the most overlooked parts of the theology and practice of infant baptism.  Keep in mind that that the [...]
