Lawful Authority

By |2021-06-02T22:29:41+00:00June 1st, 2021|Theology|

When there's not just a question of a stolen election but even evidence of it, we must remember that God preserves our conscience as Catholics who believe in the social reign of Christ the King.  This is a prayer I heard prayed publicly at a parish last month: Blessed be God. Blessed be His Holy Name. Blessed be Jesus Christ true God and true Man. Blessed be the Name of Jesus. I believe O Jesus. That Thou are the Christ. The Son of the Living God. I proclaim my love. For the Vicar of Christ on Earth. I believe all the sacred truths Which the Holy Catholic Church Believes and [...]

Should a Young Traditionalist Submarine Through Normal Seminary?

By |2021-06-08T18:42:53+00:00May 27th, 2021|Theology|

Should a young man who is a traditional Catholic "submarine" himself into his own diocese so as to get ordained?  First, what does this question even mean?  This means:  "Should the young man who prefers the tradition of the Catholic Church join a Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) congregation -or- should he could join his home diocese by keeping his head down in a normie seminary so as to be ordained so that he can reach the average Catholic with the Gospel even if this means he must offer the new Mass in English (or Vietnamese or Spanish or French)? My answer is,  "No, a young traditionalist should not 'submarine' through seminary [...]

Two Thoughts On Pentecost

By |2021-05-25T12:22:01+00:00May 25th, 2021|Theology|

https://youtu.be/Fo4Ge3FMrDM A couple possible objections to my Pentecost video... First, didn't Pope John XXIII's promise of a New Pentecost come true in the Eastern Hemisphere?  The New Pentecost seems to be a dud since "the numbers tanked," as I said in the video.  At this point, a fair counter to the above would be:  "Ah yes, Fr. David, the numbers of Catholics greatly dropped in North America and South America since Vatican II, but the numbers of Catholics in Africa and Asia increased.  Doesn't this prove the New Pentecost?"  I admit this is a very strong retort.  However, my retort to the retort is equally simple:  The good bishops of Africa and Asia [...]

Ministry of Death Part 2

By |2021-05-20T23:29:10+00:00May 20th, 2021|Theology|

Ministry of Death Part 1 was about Scripture and coronavirus.  Today, Part 2, is about medicine turning into a new world religion being formed. Although I can not yet prove this, as I look at the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) I suspect the jab is killing more people under the age of 50 than the virus itself. Many more injuries are to come. Dr. Jacob Wes Ulm, MD, Ph.D., a geneticist, recently explained to the British Medical Journal and then in a comment to Science Mag here: “[S]ince the mRNA vaccines would induce SARS-CoV-2 viral spike protein expression, that seems to mean that people who get the mRNA vaccines [...]

Ministry of Death Part 1

By |2021-05-18T02:44:59+00:00May 18th, 2021|Theology|

In his second letter to the Corinthians: St. Paul compares the Old Law of the "Ministry of Death" with the New Law's "the ministry of the Spirit:" Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because [...]

Immodesty Puts Man Before the Tree in the Garden Again

By |2024-05-16T10:13:13+00:00May 16th, 2021|Theology|

"The sins which cause most souls to go to hell are the sins of the flesh.”—Bl. Jacinta of Fatima "Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much.” - Our Lady of Fatima, 1917 Nota Bene I probably have more female friends than male friends striving for holiness, so this is not a dig on women.  Indeed, we priests are usually harder on men than women, so this is going to be an "equalizer" blog post.  The fact is that anybody (man or woman) who tempts another (man or woman) through immodesty becomes "the Tempter" to the other. However, due to the fact that more women in [...]

The Denial of Christ Come in the Flesh

By |2021-05-14T01:57:11+00:00May 14th, 2021|Theology|

The above is the Vatican's official advertisement for their May 2021 Health Conference.  It is clearly a mockery of the Creazione di Adamo painted in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican around 1510 by Michelangelo.  Archbishop Viganò recently wrote that the hands of God and Adam being covered by latex gloves show "the regulations of the new 'health liturgy'" and imply "that even the Lord Himself might spread the virus." Archbishop Viganò also wrote in the above link:  "At La Salette, Our Lady warned us: 'Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.' It will not be the Holy Church, indefectible by the promises of Christ, that will [...]

Was St. John the Baptist Justified in the Womb of St. Elizabeth by the Voice of St. Mary?

By |2021-05-10T16:24:03+00:00May 11th, 2021|Theology|

In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!"—Lk 1:39-42 (ESV) Many Church Fathers teach that St. John the Baptist was justified (cleansed of original sin) as soon as he heard the voice of Mary when he was in the womb of his mother Elizabeth.  (This is one reason [...]

The Near-Martyrdom of St. John the Apostle

By |2021-05-05T00:22:23+00:00May 6th, 2021|Theology|

As most of you know, the only apostle not martyred was St. John the Beloved (also called St. John the Theologian.)   But as seen in the FSSP Ordo today (the 6th of May) there is an optional 4th class feast of St. John's near-martyrdom in boiling oil at the Latin Gate that is even celebrated in red (R) by the priest (if he can find it at the back of his '62 Missal!) Here's the Roman Calendar as produced by the FSSP: As the definitive and ancient Roman Martyrology reads on the 6th of May, "In Rome, the feast of St. John before the Latin Gate. Being bound and brought [...]

Totalitarianism Must Be Total

By |2021-05-04T02:48:29+00:00May 4th, 2021|Theology|

The above picture I snapped while traveling in New Orleans.  I'm not sure why it was necessary to put that up since nearly no one in New Orleans dares to go into a restaurant without a mask.  It's not like the above picture is actually stopping this imaginary 50% of the population of "right-wing science-deniers" who would "endanger the average population" in the overwhelming fear still set in motion on this coronavirus "pandemic" that has allegedly "overwhelmed the hospitals."  Rather, the above sign of No Mask, No Service is simply a reminder that the shop-owners are in cahoots with the brainwashing team. The above picture I also took in New [...]
