My Thoughts On Modern Israel.

By |2025-12-22T18:10:49+00:00December 22nd, 2025|Theology|

Ok, I'm finally going to go there.  I might be the last traditional Catholic to weigh-in on the state of Israel and modern Judaism.  But there was a method to my madness in waiting.  I lived in the Old City of Jerusalem this summer, so I have much more than “internet information” enlightening today’s article.  Most pictures in this article come from my phone (except the Vatican ones.) Frequently, other traditional Catholics write me, asking why I don’t write more about the Jews. Today, Section A of my article is going to explain why I personally don’t see them as my enemies. But Section B is going to affirm traditional [...]

This Little Piggy Went to Rome.

By |2025-12-17T22:30:34+00:00December 17th, 2025|Theology|

Above is a still-frame picture from the body-cam footage from my friend in Rome with me back in October 2019 as we enter the Church of St. Mary of Traspontina in construction vests to trash Pachamama idols. You can watch the one minute video here. As I wrote here recently, it was my lame attempt to cleanse that Church just a few hundred meters from the Vatican.  I won't repeat my whole article here.  Simply know that we got caught exiting because the volunteers inside the Amazonian exhibit were on high-alert. This is because Mr. Alexander Tschugguel had successfully removed idols just three hours prior to me, unbeknownst to me, [...]

Your Diocese Is Not Guaranteed a Future.

p/c Daniel Ibanez, CNA. Most Catholics today do not know this, but the greatest center of Christianity (second only to Rome) during the first five centuries was Constantinople. This city is sadly now called Istanbul, Turkey. Today, there are only a few Catholic Churches in that city, including St. Anthony of Padua seen above. Notice the streamer on the right column has the Vatican flag. But the streamer running down the left column is the Muslim crescent moon and star. I am sure the modernist Franciscans who run the Church today would say that’s the Turkish flag, not an ode to Mohammed. But let’s be honest: It’s both. That type [...]

Islam Is Now Growing Faster Than Christianity.

By |2025-06-19T16:18:51+00:00June 19th, 2025|Theology|

I snapped the above picture in Cairo, Egypt last year.  To the left is a Coptic Orthodox Church and to the left is a fabric store with writing in Arabic.  I was on a reconnaissance mission to figure out what it would take Muslims to become Christian and what it would take to get non-Catholic Christians to become Catholic. My findings were reflected in some recent secular studies: The Pew Research Center recently reported:  "Christians remained the world’s biggest religious group. But Christians (of all denominations, counted as one group) did not keep pace with global population growth from 2010 to 2020. The number of Christians rose by 122 million, [...]

There Is Only One Abrahamic Faith

By |2022-11-18T04:29:52+00:00November 17th, 2022|Theology|

There is only Abrahamic Faith, and that is Christianity—which is Catholicism.  Remember that the Jews who reject Christ do claim, “Abraham is our father.” (John 8:39.)  But Jesus immediately denies this assertion by saying:  If you were Abraham's children, you would be doing the works Abraham did, but now you seek to kill Me, a Man Who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.  You are doing the works your father did...You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires.—John 8:39-41, 44.  Notice again that Christ Himself in Jn 8 says that the Jews [...]

Can I Eat in a Place with Idols?

By |2022-04-21T01:59:21+00:00April 21st, 2022|Theology|

"May I eat in an ethnic restaurant with pagan idols up as long as I'm not eating there because of the idols?" The short answer to this is:  If you have kids and/or want to stay on the safe-side, just avoid such restaurants, especially since there are so many options of restaurants and markets without idols out there. But what about a Catholic missionary living in India who has the choice between buying flour with a ganesh on it or entering a restaurant with a shiva in it or just starving to death?  I know the tough-guy trad-answer is "Just starve to death." However, the Saints, Fathers and Doctors give [...]
