Pro-Aborts Deface a Catholic Church in Colorado

By |2022-05-05T16:16:13+00:00May 5th, 2022|Theology|

Shortly following the so-called "leak" that the Supreme Court of the United States may vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade (the non-law saying it was "legal" to kill unborn children from 1973) a group of vandals defaced Sacred Heart of Mary (Boulder County, CO above in featured image) with pro-abortion and anti-Catholic phrases. The news of the possible re-vote and the vandalism both took place in the first week of May 2022. Yesterday, I called the pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary and I was moved that he had such a view of the triumph (not defeat) of the cross in all of these events. After we spoke on the [...]

A Common Misunderstanding Of Trafficking

By |2022-06-21T01:05:39+00:00May 3rd, 2022|Theology|

When I tell people that I have given spiritual direction to organizations working for the restoration of child sex-slaves and even have friends associated with those on the front lines of international rescue using automatic weapons, the most common response I get is: "Oh, you see, my city has the highest rate of child trafficking because this interstate runs through it!"  This response is getting really tiresome.  Firstly, these can't all be true considering how many people have told me about "their city" and "that interstate." Secondly, this response shows that most people think child sex-trafficking has mostly to do with moving children around for single-time events (like the Super [...]

TCE 42: Homicide in DC

By |2022-05-20T02:58:49+00:00April 5th, 2022|Podcasts, Sermons, Talks|

Who's going to investigate if infanticide is happening in DC? We pro-lifers know God sees murder of small babies just as horribly as He sees the murder of big babies, so I don't think we should care much about difference between abortion and homicide. But all these events show the current administration would rather put pro-lifers in prison than stop the possible-infanticide in Biden's DC. What is a Pro-Life Rescuer?

By |2022-04-05T14:30:09+00:00April 5th, 2022|Theology|

Guest Post by Will Goodman "What is a prolife rescuer" I wish to write about an ideal. And share what I have seen and learned from the lives of countless good people who have sacrificed their own lives to save the lives of others in pursuing this ideal. They have quite literally laid down their lives in love so that others may live. They are the rescuers. And this is what i have learned from them. A rescuer is called to be a witness. A very particular and unique witness. A rescuer is an advocate prepared to stay with the endangered victims, no matter what. A rescuer may choose to [...]

FBI Arrests My Friends After Discovering They Found Full-Term Murdered Babies

By |2022-04-03T19:18:45+00:00April 1st, 2022|Theology|

I just wrote in the Life Section of my blog about my friends in the pro-life movement who were taken with drawn guns by the FBI for a peaceful sit-in (aka "rescue") at an abortion center in Washington DC in 2020 where they were arrested.  But as these events of late March 2022 have now exploded into mainstream media, I'm putting an updated story on my front page here. https://youtu.be/erIQTJ0dZWI The above footage on YouTube is from an FBI raid against pro-lifers just a couple days ago (March 2022.)  But if the pro-life rescue (sit-in) took place in 2020, why did the FBI wait until 2022 to raid their homes? [...]

An Aborted Baby Saved by a Paramedic

By |2022-03-29T17:02:22+00:00March 31st, 2022|Theology|

This is a guest post written by a firemedic and father of a young man I met this year in Arizona who reads this blog. I am a retired captain for the Tucson Fire Department but before this I was a paramedic. It was during this time that I worked one of the most memorable and life changing moments of my career. The incident was on Friday, Sept. 21, 1990. Being my 29th birthday, I'll never forget the most unusual gift I have ever received from The Lord who truly works in mysterious ways. That Friday I arrived to work at Station 10 in the late afternoon. Our shift are [...]

Exceptions to Being Pro-Life?

By |2021-12-12T15:54:09+00:00December 12th, 2021|Theology|

Even in high school, long before my conversion to traditional Catholicism, I was pro-life.  I remember one guy from my high-school with whom I would work in the soup-kitchen in downtown Denver.  He was part of the young Republican club and he told me that he was "pro-life except in cases of rape and incest."  Even back then, before I had studied the defense of the pro-life position, I knew that a child should not have to pay for her life for the crime of her father.  I knew he was wrong.  If the unborn baby were human, then murder could never be justified based on any crime that led [...]

Thoughts on “The Restrainer”

By |2021-11-07T14:29:54+00:00November 9th, 2021|Theology|

And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and [...]

The Great Ones Part 2 of 3

By |2021-10-23T20:56:03+00:00October 26th, 2021|Theology|

Above top left is my friend, Msgr. Philip J. Reilly, a priest of the diocese of Brooklyn who has saved tens of thousands of babies from abortion.  Above top right is a man who he helped convert, Dr. Bernard Nathanson MD who killed 75,000 babies before being baptized a Catholic.  The good news of the blog post will eventually get to these two men. But first, I want to admit that I was going to write a blog post on these two men.  The top left (second set of pictures) is Nazi doctor, Josef Mengele. Wikipedia says of him that he was "known as the Angel of Death (German: Todesengel), [...]
