Resisting the Spiritual Arm of the New World Order
In a recent letter found on Marco Tosatti 's blog, Archbishop Viganò writes: "In recent days it has been reported in the news that the Jesuits in America have received grants of nearly two million dollars (over four years) from George Soros, and it seems that the same agreement between the Holy See and the Chinese Communist regime has been financed by large annual donations from Beijing to the Vatican coffers that are in a disastrous state. The fact that the Church fell prostrate before the lockdown, suspending liturgical celebrations and closing churches all over the world, has led to considerable collateral economic damage, for which Chinese donations and the [...]
Bell-Curve Catholicism
So-called "Middle-of-the-Road" Catholics are becoming increasingly distressed at their own defectors to the camp of the “far left” of Fr. James Martin SJ and the camp of the “far right” of Dr. Taylor Marshall. These Middle-of-the-Road Catholics are concerned at how many “pro-life Catholics” will still vote for Biden, especially as a new group of “defectors to the left" listens to the likes of Fr. James Martin. Such clergy of the far-left discount the notion of being a “one-issue voter” on abortion as we approach the election. For this reason, liberal "pro-life Catholics" may have no problem voting for Biden because of other issues they dislike about Trump. But the [...]
Part 4 of My Commentary on Archbishop Viganò’s September 2020 Letter
This is the fourth and final part of the analysis I wrote on a recent letter from Archbishop Viganò to a layman. Archbishop Viganò’s words are in italics below. My words are in orange bold font. Dear Mr. Kokx, 1 Sept 2020 ...continued from part 3... But in order to deserve the immortal glory of Heaven we are called to rediscover – in an emasculated age devoid of values such as honor, faithfulness to one’s word, and heroism – a fundamental aspect of the faith of every baptized person: the Christian life is a militia, and with the Sacrament of Confirmation [...]
Part 3 of My Commentary on Archbishop Viganò’s September 2020 Letter
This is the third part of an analysis I wrote on a recent letter from Archbishop Viganò to a layman. Archbishop Viganò's words are in italics. My words are in bold orange font below. AB. Viganò's full letter without my additions can be found here. Dear Mr. Kokx, 1 Sept 2020 ...continued from part 2... It is therefore not a question of working from within the Church or outside it: the winemakers are called to work in the Lord’s Vineyard, and it is there that they must remain even at the cost of their lives; the pastors are called to pastor the Lord’s Flock, to keep the ravenous wolves at [...]
Part 2 of My Commentary on Archbishop Viganò’s September 2020 Letter
Below is a continued analysis I wrote on a recent letter from Archbishop Viganò to a layman. His words are in black italics or bold. My words are in bold orange font below. AB. Viganò's full letter without my additions can be found here. Dear Mr. Kokx, 1 Sept 2020 ...continued from part 1... Therefore let us not give in to the temptation to abandon – albeit with justified indignation – the Catholic Church, on the pretext that it has been invaded by heretics and fornicators: it is they who must be [...]
Part 1 of My Commentary on Archbishop Viganò’s September 2020 Letter
Below is a detailed analysis I wrote on a recent letter from Archbishop Viganò to a layman. This is Part 1 of a several part commentary. Archbishop Viganò's letter is in italics below. My words are in an orange bold font below. AB. Viganò's original letter without any commentary is here. Dear Mr. Kokx, 1 Sept 2020 I read with lively interest your article “Questions for Viganò: His Excellency is Right about Vatican II, But What Does He Think Catholic Should Do Now?” which was published by Catholic Family News on August 22. [...]
The French Revolution and the American-Catholic Today
Art by Gloria Thomas. I'm 98% sure my history text book in Catholic grade school portrayed the French Revolution as a good thing. We learned the aristocrats were against “fraternity, equality and liberty" and that is apparently all we needed to know as 7th graders in a Catholic grade school in Denver. But the reality is that the French Revolution was a mass martyrdom of Catholics. Though done in the name of dis-empowering aristocrats (only 30 of the 1400 executed in the initial “Terror” in Paris were aristocrats) this bloody revolution was nothing short of a revolt against God and an overturning of all social order. There is a Catholic [...]
He Who Takes Away The Sins of the World
Trump is no Messiah. In fact, the Donald disappoints me on three of his policies which I won't get into here. But after watching segments of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) there is no question on who a Catholic can vote for—not only "in good conscience" like everyone says, but even by simple common sense. Besides the fact the democratic party is openly pro-abortion (meaning it was a no-contest even before watching the DNC on whether any issue can equal the importance of abortion in a Catholic vote) there is also the fact that I was absolutely star-struck at the level of blatant lying in the DNC about Trump, our [...]
When Politics Becomes A Religion
The above is an 8 foot by 8 foot tin face outside a suburban liquor store (where I now regret having purchased anything.) It was while driving away that I realized a semi-new world religion is forming: The image and likeness of God as a human face is covered when a mask is on it. Although we men and women most reflect God first and spiritually in having an intellect and free-will, the face is the physical part of the human person that most clearly reflects the fact that every person was made in the image and likeness of God. (Gen 1:26) The Rainbow Flag is a mockery the fact [...]
New Zealand Opens Mandatory Quarantine Camps
Please watch this video done by the New Zealand government that is less than 60 seconds long: https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1293830183154118657?s=21 In May, New Zealand reported “zero new coronavirus cases Monday for the first time since the middle of March” and still with all of the international over-reporting, they were only reporting able to muster up 20 alleged deaths due to coronavirus. Let’s grant that to them, God rest their souls. But now NZ claims 13 positive cases in four days (not four deaths. Just four people with a generic coronavirus-test turn out postive, not necessarily Covid 19) as they claim this is reason enough to begin mandatory quarantine camps. Even with over-reporting, [...]
