Miracles and Saints of the Catholic Church

By |2023-11-07T18:44:39+00:00November 2nd, 2023|Theology|

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”—John 4:48.  This line is typically seen as a reproach from Our Lord Jesus Christ, but perhaps it is a pledge, namely, that we weak human creatures need to see miracles to believe.  The following is a brief but powerful compilation of [mostly] modern miracles and saints that gives great evidence to the Catholic Faith.  It was put together by my brother's godfather. Miraculous, visible proof; events not explainable by science; A miracle is a sensibly perceptible  effect, surpassing at least the powers of visible nature, produced by God to witness to some truth or to [...]

Nuchurch’s “Counter-Syllabus” of Errors.

By |2023-10-31T19:22:24+00:00October 31st, 2023|Theology|

With providential foresight, Pope Pius IX (top left) saw in the 19th century the heresies that would come upon the Church in the 20th century.  So, in 1864, he wrote the Syllabus of Errors. Over one hundred years later, Cardinal Ratzinger (top right, before he was Pope) unfortunately admitted that Vatican II was "a Counter-Syllabus" of Errors.  By this, he meant Vatican II was good and the Syllabus' condemnation of heresies was bad, or at least outdated. This is found in his book Principles of Catholic Theology.  More specifically, Cardinal Ratzinger said Gaudium Et Spes was a Counter-Syllabus.  He meant Catholics needed to get with the times in making peace [...]

USA: The Country the Mother of God Called “Wild.”

By |2024-08-31T03:41:33+00:00October 26th, 2023|Theology|

Unless you are a practicing Catholic living in the Great Lakes region of the USA, you probably do not know that an approved Marian apparition happened in the 19th century in Wisconsin.  The name of this apparition is Our Lady of Champion, and it was deemed “Worthy of Belief” by the Authority of the Catholic Church and also in 2016 by Bishop Ricken of Green Bay, WI. Adele Brise was a girl born in Belgium in 1831.  As a young girl, she lost her sight in her right eye due to an accident.  Later, her family moved to Wisconsin with other Belgian settlers.  When she was walking through the forest [...]

Synod: Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves

By |2023-10-24T01:36:37+00:00October 24th, 2023|Theology|

As I have written before, narcissism is more than just vanity.  For example, the male models in the comedy movie Zoolander are vain.  But alas, Derek Zoolander is not smart enough to be a narcissist.  (I don't suggest anyone watch a movie as immoral as that, but it was a young-adult favorite of my friends and me.)  True narcissism includes much more than the silly vanity of a Hansel McDonald.  Due to low self-esteem, the real narcissist begins to manipulate those in his life with calculated gaslighting. Gaslighting is also an over-used term today.  It doesn't mean simply winning a debate using evidence.  (Evidence is always the pathway to the [...]

YouTube Re-Education Camp

By |2023-10-18T22:50:49+00:00October 19th, 2023|Theology|

The above is a screenshot from my YouTube channel.  But only the content-creator (myself) can see the above "warning" within the internal dashboard.  This has been perpetually present since I made a video against the Covid-19 "vaccine" in 2021.  It was a content violation, a thought-crime. But to lose the "warning" I just learned (Oct 2023) that I can to take a certain "training" from YouTube (YT.)  Hence, I call this blog post, "YouTube Re-Education Camp." I figured this would be like any multiple-choice continuing education that uses questions to surreptiously teach their own skewed worldview.  But YT's level of pro-abortion indoctrination in the training I took this month was [...]

Teaching Hell: Fearmongering or Negligence?

By |2023-10-05T12:09:38+00:00October 17th, 2023|Theology|

One of the most heretical things I hear from neo-con non-trads is: "While hell is a real possibility, we do not know if any person has ever gone there."  That's as irresponsible as telling teens, "Yes, we know car accidents are a real possibility, but we have no proof anyone actually dies in car wrecks."  Of course, the neo-con non-trad would respond to the above paragraph by saying, "Well, I do believe there have been fatal car accidents, but we have no proof in the Magisterium that any humans have ever gone to hell." First of all, Jesus spoke about hell and those who have gone there (including Judas—by name) [...]

The Three Grades of the TLM

By |2023-10-13T16:13:57+00:00October 12th, 2023|Theology|

The three grades (so to speak) of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) are listed in order of ascending solemnity: Low Mass: In this Mass, a lay person will probably just hear the priest whisper the Roman Canon without a choir or any chanting.  The above featured-image is me offering Holy Mass at a side altar in Portugal.  Notice that I have a server in that picture, but I never have a server in my hermitage for my daily low Mass.  Only two candles are lit upon the altar, whether the priest has a server or not.  Of course, in a low Mass it is still God the Son offering Himself [...]

Who Is the “Man of Lawlessness”?

By |2023-11-26T15:12:38+00:00October 10th, 2023|Theology|

Under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote this to the Thessalonians about the man of lawlessness: Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself [...]

Six-Aspects of Modernism

By |2023-10-05T00:13:50+00:00October 5th, 2023|Theology|

"Modernism" is not an adaptation of some ancient Gospel to a needy modern man.  Neither is modernism living a healthy Catholicism that simply rejects a rad-trad time-warp. Rather, modernism is "the synthesis of all heresies, "as Pope St. Pius X has written, and we know heresy leads to hell.  What are these heresies?  I have included two or three aspects of modernism in past writings, but as I now want to include up to six deadly aspects found at the heart of modernism: A Man-Centered Religion:  Modernism replaces a vertical-religion for a horizontal-religion.  One example of this is how the Mass of the modernist faces man, not God.  Or, at [...]

God’s Goodness and the Permission of Evil

By |2023-10-30T19:07:48+00:00October 3rd, 2023|Theology|

The average amount of time someone spends reading my blog is about 90 seconds at one sitting, according to the WordPress stats.  So, if you only have 90 seconds, please read the three paragraphs Compendium of Theology by St. Thomas Aquinas below, as it's some of his most beautiful theology I have ever read. Then, if you have time, read my commentary in orange. God’s permission of evil in the things governed by Him is not inconsistent with the divine goodness. For, in the first place, the function of Providence is not to destroy but to save the nature of the beings governed. The perfection of the universe requires the existence of some beings [...]
