The Maccabees, the TLM and the “Vaccine”
Who were the Maccabees? Dr. Taylor Marshall writes here: The “Maccabees,” or more properly the Hasmoneans, were a Jewish priestly family that led the just rebellion against the Greco-Syrians under Antiochus IV Epiphanes in the second century before Christ. The Maccabees were led by Mathathias and then by his third son Judas “Maccabeus.” The nickname comes from the Aramaic maccaba meaning “hammer.” So his name was “Judas the Hammer.” The nickname “Maccaba” was extended to the entire family and descendants of Mathathias. Self-Incriminating Struggle Session
The man at the top right is Jack Posobiec. He is a 35 year old husband and father and a Traditional Latin Mass Catholic. He learned Mandarin and lived in China working for the US Chamber of Commerce. He was also in the Navy including several tours as well as serving for the Office of Naval Intelligence. Jack now has 1.4M followers on Twitter, mostly conservatives like him. Recently, on a podcast, he was describing tactics of the Chinese communists, including "struggle sessions." In a "struggle session," a person convicted of thought crimes against communism was frequently to incriminate himself by confessing the "sins" against a state in a struggle-session. [...]

Does Excommunicating Pro-Abortion Politicians Do Anything?
The new Code of Canon Law in Can. 1398 explains that anyone who "procures" an abortion is automatically (latæ sententiæ) excommunicated. That is, anyone who participates in an abortion (mother, father, driver, doctor, nurse, etc.) is excommunicated by the very act of abortion (without a need of a penal declaration from a bishop.) Hence, it was automatic. Now, there is some debate if a pro-abortion politician who publicly promotes abortion is also ex-communicated automatically, for Canon 1329 speaks of circumstances "where a number of persons conspire together to commit an offense." First Year of Solemn High Masses
There are a few different ways to offer the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM): 1) The Solemn High Mass (which is the standard from the early Church, even though it is the most ornate. See picture above for an example.) The Solemn High Mass requires three clerics (priest, deacon and sub-deacon) as well as many acolytes and a choir. An Alternative Religious-Exemption Form
A Catholic lawyer I know recently wrote a religious exemption that I found to be short and strong that I wish to share below. Each employee will need to personalize their letter based on the specific job. Recently, I heard a middle-aged exorcist give a talk about how all the elderly exorcists in the world agree that something happened in 1963 that tanked the power of the Church in exorcisms. The middle-aged exorcist did not say what this event was.
