In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.—Lk 2:1-2
Notice that Joseph and Mary had to go through a census or registration (ἀπογραφὴ or apographé in Greek in Lk 2:2 above) as Jews living under the foreign occupation of the Roman Empire. Herod, a half-Jew who was in cahoots with the Roman government that had invaded, presumably used this registration to track Jesus in his attempts to kill Him:
Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.—Mt 2:16
Remember, a census or a registration can be good, bad or neutral. But when an invading government uses information to track people and kill them, it is clearly bad. St. Joseph knew this which is why he fled to Egypt with his young family. We forget every Christmas the tension of escaping unjust leaders and their demands of registration were part of the early life of the Holy Family. Or, we imagine such a departure was easy just because they were so holy.
Many of you have lost your jobs over the past year of “registrations” on COVID-19 demands. Many of you have lost families or friends over the great divide that has taken place in Church and State. Many of you believe you are in danger of losing the TLM. Yes, the the vaccine-tyrants and the liturgical-tyrants have done some real damage with their manipulations and lies. Why didn’t we see this coming?
For one, we were all taught that we were being born into a world much less brutal than the 1st century of the Roman Empire where the non-compliant dissidents were made slaves or scourged or executed. But we now live in a much more brutal world than ancient times. For example, you think of the Roman Empire as a time of many slaves. True, but the earth now has 40 million slaves, more than ever in history. Also, 25% of that 40M are children. At least 12% of that 40M are exclusively sex-slaves (though much more are certainly abused on the side.) Also, 99% of the world’s slaves are girls or women.
So, things are not better now than 2,000 years ago. There is a holocaust of children much more global than anything Herod tried. There is now a global health communism that leaves no where for a young family to escape to. (Yes, Joseph had Egypt, but I’m sure today there are even mask mandates and vaccine brainwashing campaigns in Cairo today.) It was a lie we all learned in modernist catechesis that the world was getting better, that the Church could play patty-cake with the world and the flesh and the devil and that “progress” would bring the Church and State (together!) out of the dark age with science, accompaniment and all the other buzz-words of liberal Catholics that have greased the skids for elite oligarchs to begin the Great Reset on 7 continents. Already, at the beginning of this Great Reset, we have unprecedented job-losses, suicides and an abortion-tainted poison being foisted upon people who have come to fear a flu with a 99.92% survival rate in what has become the largest mass psychosis in all of world history. Truly, the world has been brainwashed into ignoring the fact that an abortion-tainted injection has now been proven in numerous studies to do more harm than good to adults and children.
On top of that, our greatest weapon against such lies, the TLM, seems threatened.
But we are not threatened. The vaccine-tyrants and the liturgical-tyrants can only rule over those who fear them. And this is why it’s so important this Christmas we let Jesus be the light to totally dissipate our fear of the elitist oligarchs in the Deep Church and deep State: Christmas is not just a reminder that Christ comes to pay for our sins, but Christ will also be the winner of all of history. Yes, Christ is God and He is the author of all of history. He will also be the winner of all of history as well as those who stand with Him. Jesus clearly explained that the only thing we should fear is God (Lk 12:5) and then later we learn in the spiritual life that even on that front, perfect charity casteth out fear.—1 John 4:18.
Christmas is the time when we should not only mediate on Christ’s mercy, but His final victory. Truth will always win. Love will always win. Just look at the Antiphons in the old Divine Office of the Saturday before Christmas Eve every year: His kingdom shall increase, and of his peace there shall be no end -And- I, the Lord, have brought my justice near; it shall not be far off and my salvation shall not delay. -And- Let Israel be ready to go out to meet the Lord, for He is coming. Notice in all of these the imminent arrival of not only mercy, but also justice. In short, if you are on God’s side, you have nothing to fear at Christmas or the general judgment.
So, it makes sense that those not on God’s side live in constant fear of death. They fear the virus. They fear being cancelled. They fear losing their jobs. They would rather defending pagan-idol worship in the Vatican than defend a Mass that goes back to the Apostles. But here’s why I’m not worried: Whereas the elite oligarchs of Davos and the elite oligarchs of the Church-hijackings may not seem to fear God, they actually fear…us! They do realize that true Christians are the light of the world, as long as we don’t recuse ourselves from the battle under pretext of pious phrases like, “Yeah, we know who wins in the end” or “God has the final word” or “I know how it ends.”
Rather, we are called to win against the Great Reset elite-oligarchs or the infiltrated-hierarchy of the Catholic Church because God passes the baton to us at the Christmas to be his little lights in the world of darkness. (Protestantism holds that Jesus is the only light of the world. Catholicism holds that Jesus is the only light of the world and He lives that through not only the sacraments but also the saints, for Christ Himself said, You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid.—Mt 5:14.)
Now, granted, our victories before death at the earthly level may come in small ways. I was recently at a Christmas pageant at a local Catholic grade school and 80% of the people were masked. 20% of us were not masked. But an hour into it, 90% of the people dropped the masks. I was so happy to see people’s faces! A few days later, I told a friend on the East Coast on the phone how just 20% of the people apparently got almost everyone to take their masks off by saying nothing to them at all. She, too, was so happy at this small victory, and she said to me: “That’s how light works. It’s the opposite of darkness. Darkness can not defeat light, but just a little light can defeat darkness.” She then added quite a visual: “Think about it, if you walk into a very dark cathedral at night with just one candle, it lights up the entire cathedral.”
Yes, Jesus wins in the end, but my friend who gave me such a striking visual would agree with me that God has given us these little clean-up jobs in this war for souls before we get to the General Judgment that we must win ourselves by God’s grace. You see, God needs very few rue Christians to beat the globalist oligarchs and the big-wig modernist clergy (who happen to be psychologically torturing the world right now.) But our victory may not include numbers by the time the 2020s come to an end. That’s okay. In fact, our victory may include red martyrdoms or continued white martyrdoms. But just as Herod feared Jesus, so also these vaccine-tyrants and the liturgical-tyrants fear Apostolic Christians more than we fear them. I really mean it. The bad guys fear the good guys not only because the bad guys hate the truth but also because they fear the truth. Remember: They fear truth, so we should not fear error.
This is why both comings of Jesus (His first as a baby and His second as lightning from the sky) are such a threat to the vaccine-tyrants and the liturgical-tyrants. If 2021 has you worried going into 2022, then please imbibe deep into your soul these three segments of inspired words of the Bible as you remember that the light should never ever fear the darkness. Truth can never fear a lie. Notice as you read (especially in St. Paul below) that the fear in the hearts of the enemies of God is a clear sign of their coming destruction but the pledge of salvation to the faithful salvation:
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.—Phil 1:27-30
Behold, all who are incensed against you
shall be put to shame and confounded;
those who strive against you
shall be as nothing and shall perish.
You shall seek those who contend with you,
but you shall not find them;
those who war against you
shall be as nothing at all.
For I, the LORD your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”—Is 41:11-13
And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name. And his mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear him. He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy: As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.—Lk 1:46-55
