Trump is no Messiah. In fact, the Donald disappoints me on three of his policies which I won’t get into here. But after watching segments of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) there is no question on who a Catholic can vote for—not only “in good conscience” like everyone says, but even by simple common sense. Besides the fact the democratic party is openly pro-abortion (meaning it was a no-contest even before watching the DNC on whether any issue can equal the importance of abortion in a Catholic vote) there is also the fact that I was absolutely star-struck at the level of blatant lying in the DNC about Trump, our country, our history and even natural law. The DNC amazingly revealed themselves as party come out as the modern French Revolution: Rioting, atheism, destruction of order and the continuation of pre-born baby slaughter at a level we’ve never seen proposed in this country. If you think “French Revolution” is an exaggeration, they even support these rioters who have brought their own play-guillotine:

The new French Revolution for anyone with eyes to see (anyone who has read a single history book on the French Revolution):
1) In a scene that played out several times Monday, a Black Lives Matter protest that began in Columbia Heights confronted White diners outside D.C. restaurants, chanting “White silence is violence!” and demanding White diners show their solidarity. #DCProtests pic.twitter.com/fJbPM76vb0

The other reason I might be able to tell who is on God’s side in this country and who is on Satan’s side is this: Watching clips from the DNC made me realize millions of Americans blame Trump not only for national problems, but even for all their personal miseries. Can you imagine a DNC between Reagan’s two terms in 1984 blaming him not only for problems in the country, but each individual’s personal miseries? As Tucker Carlson once said, one can understand another being mad at a Tweet by Trump, but there are people in this country who are absolutely obsessed from waking up to going to bed with the “evil” of that man. Tucker Carlson recently noted this obsession is nothing short of Sigmund Freud’s “transferrence” where “they displace their sins onto you.” In other words, people are looking for a scapegoat for their own personal sins and miseries. What happens when they don’t have Jesus?
Their sins go to Trump. In fact, Michelle Obama was not embarrassed to publicly place her own depression on Trump. A juvenile celebrity at the DNC placed her personal misery on Trump. A few years ago, many even blamed the wildfires in Australia on Trump. With notable exceptions on both sides, I feel pretty confident writing this as a sweeping generalization: The Right places their sins on Jesus. The Left places their sins on Trump.
Who is treating Trump like a Messiah now?

A Catholic who remembers Sister Lucia of Fatima’s warning about a “diabolical disorientation” coming over the world would have to admit at some point that this irrational, frenetic and diabolical frenzy that characterizes the left (not just in the USA, but all over the globe) placing their own personal failures and sins on the head of Donald Trump leads one to think there must be some overlap between the Catholic “diabolical disorientation” and the American term, “Trump derangement syndrome.” Both disorientation-based groups of people seem to be living under “a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false.”—2 Thess 2:11. Again, I am finally at the point I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that half our country places their sins on Jesus and the other half places their sins on Trump. And the ones who do the latter are under a diabolical derangement that makes them “believe what is false.”
So, only Jesus will save you. I admonish the few people on the “left” reading this to please wake up and realize that Trump is not the problem. You are the problem. I am the problem. That is the nature of personal sin that can only be relieved by the God-man who died for us on a cross. Only Jesus can save you and me. Christ is willing to take your sins as He already offered Himself for them. Jesus really can forgive you anything you have done. Trump can not take your sins, or your miseries or even forgive you anything you have done. Please, stop placing your sins on Trump and accept the blood that you and I caused to flow by accepting the one Messiah: Jesus Christ.
We have a divide in our country which, when traced, is nearly correlative to those who have chosen to live in submission to their liberal governors versus those who try to live in submission to God in this country. At the top of this blog is a picture where Trump and his mistress (yes, mistress, so we must pray that he gets annulments to marry her in the Catholic Church) kneel before the slain but standing Lamb of God. Happily, they both kneel before Jesus, the Paschal Lamb who was slain so as to take the sins of the whole world. St. John the Baptist called Christ the “Lamb of God” partly because Christ was gentle, but primarily because He would and could and did take the sins of the world, as no other man could. Why? Because He was God. Trump is not your Messiah, so stop treating him as a scapegoat. We all must go to Him of Whom the Baptist says: “Behold, the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. This is He of whom I said, After me comes a Man who ranks before me, because He was before me.’”—Jn 1:29-30.
