Above: Cardinal Kurt Koch, p/c Zenit.

Jesus Christ said to St. Peter in the Gospel of St. Matthew: And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.—Mt 16:18-19.

The above passage is one reason why Pope Pius VI in the 18th century condemned a proto-collegiality that “every Bishop, as much as the Pope, was called by God to govern the Church and was granted the same power.”  Another error that good Pope condemned was that “Christ granted the same authority to all the Apostles, and everything that one believes can be obtained from and granted by the Pontiff alone can also be obtained from any Bishop – either by virtue of his consecration or ecclesiastical jurisdiction.”  Notice again those two quotes were heresies he condemned in the 18th century.

Besides the fact that Lumen Gentium chapter 3 promoted something close to those two errors, we know the auto-destruction in Rome reached a peak level of madness the last decade.   Tradition in Action writes:  “We see Pope Francis and his Council of Eight (here & here) impose collegiality and democracy in the Church by denying the traditional primacy of jurisdiction and teaching of the Sovereign Pontiff, we want to offer our readers documents of past Popes teaching precisely the opposite.”

If you doubt the above assertion in bold, follow the last two links.

Now we get to how this applies to the main topic, namely, the 2025 Papal Conclave starting tomorrow, 7 May 2025.  The picture at the top of this article is Cardinal Koch of Switzerland who is one of the Cardinals voting in the Conclave and he is even considered papabile—capable of being elected Pope (at least by the mainstream media, but not by anyone who actually believes the candidate for the papacy must be a Catholic.)

Quiet and unassuming, Koch has been the prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity.  EWTN even did a puff-piece interview with him, mysteriously withholding  that he is one of the current chief-architects of religious indifferentism.   Although the life-giving cross of Jesus Christ can never be emptied of power objectively, it can be emptied of its power subjectively.  Again, this is done through the heresy of religious indifferentism, teaching that all religions lead to heaven.

What we are going to see below is not a “hit piece” on Koch, but rather his own plan for putting the papacy on the same level as all other religious leaders—both Catholic and non-Catholic.

Through Koch and others, we face the final flattening of the papacy (at least the putative-flattening of the papacy in the eyes of 99% of Catholics, for we know the papacy itself cannot be destroyed or overcome by Satan) as an undercurrent to the current Conclave in Rome via synodality.  Maybe we could rename the title of this article “the final destruction of the fake papacy.”  But it’s going to affect the faith of billions of people if some Cardinal does not stand up to this madness of what may be again thrust upon the Chair of Peter this Spring of 2025.

In an article titled these 8 cardinals May Succeed Francis, LifeSite News (LSN) writes: Cardinal Koch is a man who opposes fundamental doctrines of the Church. His dicastery produced a radical blueprint for the destruction of the Catholic Church and its replacement with a new “Synodal Church.” Ecumenism has been longterm interest for Koch and, if this blueprint were implemented, the “Synodal Church” would become a global church without true authority or unity in doctrine. Koch also holds the heretical position that there is no need for a mission to the Jewish people as they can be saved under the Old Covenant. His dicastery has produced documents that contain heresy, both with regard to the nature of the Church and outreach to the Jews. He defends his rejection of the teaching of the Catholic Church by an appeal to Vatican II.

Cdl. Koch’s dicastery (department) in the Vatican produced a document which LSN renames a parody of the papacy containing these goals:

  1. They will re-interpret Sacred Scripture so that it supports a “synodal” understanding of the papacy in which the pope is just a figurehead with no real authority (see Nos. 35 -39).
  2. They will give new meanings to the concepts of “authority” and “service” so that the real authority of the papacy will be destroyed (see Nos. 40-42).
  3. They will seek out ambiguous passages in the Church Fathers which could be deployed to provide a basis for a new understanding of the papacy (see Nos. 44-47).
  4. They will reinterpret the infallible teaching of Vatican I on the divine institution of the papacy by means of a new “hermeneutic,” which will bring Catholic doctrine into line with the views of the Orthodox and the Protestants (see Nos. 48-56).
  5. The same “hermeneutical approach” will be used to solve the “obstacle” of Vatican I’s infallible definitions of papal jurisdiction and papal infallibility. See (No. 57–73).
  6. They will reinterpret Vatican I in light of (I) Vatican II (see Nos. 61, 66, 72), (ii) a reconstruction of the real “intentions” of the Council Fathers at Vatican I (see No. 62-63) and (iii) a “distinction between the text and its interpretation” which will allow them to interpret the text in a way that suits their agenda (see Nos. 64-66).
  7. They will rehabilitate the previously condemned error that the exercise of infallibility requires the consent of the Church (see Nos. 72, 106).

Ultimately, their “synodal pope” will just be another Protestant minister:

  1. [The papacy] will have “a primacy of honor” only, with no real authority over Orthodox and Protestant believers who will be invited to come under its banner (see No. 76-80, 94-98).
  2. It will preside over a church which is synodal “at every level” and will therefore no longer be subject to authority, or possess the unity of faith, worship and government which are essential marks of the Catholic Church (see Nos 81-83).
  3. It will preside not by divine right, but simply because there is a “pragmatic argument” for “the need for a ministry of unity at the universal level” (see No. 62-68).

Notice that their goal is the final destruction of the papacy.  It can never happen, but it can destroy the fake-papacy in the minds of billions of Catholics.  This is why Archbishop Viganó recently wrote: “Bergoglio did not need to change doctrine: he instead managed to make it irrelevant and negligible, creating a certain liquid inclusiveness without dogmas and without ideals. He never wanted to act as Pope, but he made sure that after him no Pope could obtain from Catholics that obedience that he made hateful, because it was extorted in order to support heresies and moral deviations.”

So, if the worst happens in Rome this May of 2025, I think it would be safe to say the Roman Catholic Church would become paralyzed (at the human level, not the divine level) in the filth of her own heresy.  But “paralyzed” is exactly the good news if you know Marian apparitions.

Why?  Because Our Lady of Good Success in the 16th century promised the following would happen after the Church got “paralyzed” following the 20th century:  “The freemen from the slavery of these heresies, those who the merciful love of my most Holy Son will destine for the restoration will have a great strength of will, constancy, bravery and much confidence in God. To test this faith and the confidence of the just, there will be times when it will seem all is lost and paralyzed. This then, will be the beginning of the complete restoration.”

Maybe we get the miracle of the “restoration of the Church” in May 2025.  But don’t fear or fret if it takes a little longer than that.  Until then, we need men and women who “will have a great strength of will, constancy, bravery and much confidence in God,” as Our Lady said in Quito, Ecuador five hundred years ago to the people of our time.
