In this last quarter of 2024, we have bumped up against the threat of thermonuclear war several times. As everyone knows, every government contingency following the release of a single ICBM nuclear warhead always leads to mutually assured destruction for up to 90% of humanity. We have been bracing for this since the scamdemic, so I don’t want to cry wolf. But we do need to review our theology in light of global politics again.
Theologically, we must remember only one thing will get the Church (and subsequently the world) back on-track: A traditional Pope who validly consecrates Russia (and Russia alone) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (with all the bishops in tow.)
How do we know this wasn’t already done?
Newt Gingrich made a movie called Nine Days That Changed the World and the description under the link reads: “Pope John Paul II’s historic nine-day pilgrimage to Poland in June of 1979 created a revolution of conscience that transformed Poland.” I saw the movie when it came out in 2010 and I was inspired at the political clout that John Paul II had in overturning communism. Recently, I was again reminded of the great political work done by JPII in getting the iron curtain to collapse as I watched two movies on Former President Ronald Reagan. Indeed, Reagan and JPII were an excellent political team.
But Our Lady of Fatima didn’t tell the Pope to be on a “political team.” She asked a Pope (any Pope of the 20th century) to consecrate Russia—and Russia alone—to her Immaculate Heart. Was this ever done by Pope John Paul II? I believe it was never done accurately by him (or any Pope of the 20th century) as he never mentioned Russia alone and he never had all the bishops with him.
Did Sr. Lucy of Fatima say this consecration was done validly? Some of you readers more extreme than me will say “There are two Lucys.” Some of you readers less extreme than me will say “Yes, Sr. Lucy said the consecration was accepted by heaven.” That latter group will most likely indicate that “on 8 November 1989, Sr Lucia sent a letter to Pope John Paul II in which she said that his consecration of 25 March 1984 ‘was done as Our Lady requested’— quoted in Fatima in Lucia’s Own Words, 16th edition, July 2007, page 124, note 11.”
That, however, is a lie. How do we know? Because even if there were not a replacement Sr. Lucy following a homicide of the original Sr. Lucy (a theory I am very open to, but not “sold-on” yet) we still have abundant evidence that Sr. Lucy of Fatima (born in 1907) said repeatedly from 1946 to 1985 that every alleged-consecration of Russia done by any and every Pope of the 20th century was unsatisfactory. Notice that her insistence that Russia was never consecrated properly spanned a total of five decades (40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.)
Sr. Lucy of Fatima repeatedly says Russia was not consecrated properly from 40s to 50s to 60s to 70s to early 80s:
- In 1946, she explained in an interview that the general consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart performed by Pope Pius XII in 1942 was not satisfactory, because it was not the specific consecration of Russia and all the Catholic bishops did not join the Pope.
- By 1957, Sr. Lucia was clearly dismayed by the Church’s continuing failure to accede to Our Lady’s request. In a meeting with Fr. Agustin Fuentes, Postulator of the Cause for Beatification of Francisco and Jacinta Marto, she emphasized that whole nations risked disappearing from the world and many souls were going to hell as a result of ignoring Our Lady’s request. This interview was published widely in English and Spanish in 1958, with the approbation of the Bishop of Fatima.
- In March of 1982, a meeting took place between Sr. Lucia and the Papal Nuncio to Portugal. Sr. Lucia took this opportunity to fully inform the Nuncio of the requirements for a valid consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. However, in his report to the Pope, the Nuncio knowingly failed to mention that the world’s bishops must join the Pope in performing the ceremony.
- A few months later, on the eve of a visit to Fatima by Pope John Paul II (May 12, 1982), the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano published an article by Father Umberto Pasquale, a priest who had corresponded with Sr. Lucia for over 40 years. Fr. Pasquale restated that Sr. Lucia clearly told him that Our Lady of Fatima never asked for the consecration of the world, but only of Russia. He also published a photographic reproduction of a handwritten note to him from Sr. Lucia confirming that the request referred only to Russia, and not the world.
Vatican intrigue reaches a new level in the late 80s on manipulation (or forges) of Sr. Lucy regarding the alleged consecration:
- Two years later, in the summer of 1989, Sr. Lucia received a surprising instruction from an anonymous official at the Vatican. The instruction directed that Sr. Lucia and her fellow religious at the convent must now say that the consecration performed in March of 1984 satisfied the request of Our Lady of Fatima. This extraordinary order to flatly contradict herself was revealed by Father Messias Coelho, a longtime friend and occasional visitor of Sr. Lucia. In evident obedience to the same instruction, Sr. Lucia’s cousin Maria do Fetal suddenly reversed herself, and quoted Sr. Lucia as saying the consecration had been done.
- Shortly thereafter, various typewritten notes and letters supposedly signed by Sr. Lucia began to appear and circulate privately in pious journals outside of Portugal. All contained statements flatly contradicting everything Sr. Lucia had said about the consecration over the previous 60 years. The fact that the documents were not handwritten and contained some obvious factual errors and strange phrases made their authentic origin with Sr. Lucia highly dubious.
- For the rest of the decade, the Vatican turned a deaf ear to continuing calls for the consecration, for the revelation of the Third Secret, and for an end to Sr. Lucia’s enforced silence. Finally, in June of 2000, the Vatican — at a press conference where hundreds of journalists from around the world were present — revealed what it claimed was the Third Secret, along with other documents, including a lengthy commentary. Notably absent from the press conference was the author of the Third Secret, Sr. Lucia. She was not only excluded from the event, she also remained under an order of silence on the subject. Even if the document released were not questionable in itself (and it is…) the absence and silence of Sr. Lucia would still make this “revelation” dubious in the extreme. (See The Devil’s Final Battle by Fr. Paul Kramer more information.)
- Sr. Lucia’s religious vocation as a cloistered nun makes her vulnerable to manipulation in ways not possible with lay persons. She can be made inaccessible, she can be denied the right of response to false claims and allegations, and above all, she is kept absolutely silent.—The Fatima Center.
Thus, when progressivists say “Sr. Lucy accepted the 1984-consecration in 1989,” they are purposely ignoring her denial of a valid consecration from 1946 to 1985. That is a total of 39 years in the 20th century of Sr. Lucy insisting the consecration of Russia was not done to the liking of heaven. So, what happened between 1985 and 1989? The only possible answer is brainwashing her under pretext of obedience. (At least, this is the only possible answer if Sr. Lucy wasn’t already replaced years prior.)
What was the motive for such an omission? Fr. Gabriele Amorth (chief exorcist of Rome and close friend of JPII) explained: “There was no such consecration then… I witnessed the act. I was in St. Peter’s Square that Sunday afternoon, very close to the Pope; so close, I could almost touch him… John Paul II wanted to mention Russia expressly, but in the end he did not.” Why not? Probably because JPII’s advisors feared the Kremlin and the fall-out of “ecumenical” relations with the Russian Orthodox Church. Is this a good excuse? Of course not! If Mary tells you one thing and the Vatican advisors tell you another, you follow Mary, not your fears of nuclear war.
Ironically, the Vatican’s fear of nuclear war in the 1980s (and subsequent disobedience to heaven) is exactly what brings us to the precipice of nuclear war in 2025. It goes to show that if we disobey, we lose not only heaven, but even earth. Indeed, now that the globalists of the West are prodding Russia to war before (or after) the inauguration of Donald Trump next month, we see that the Vatican has left us not only an ecclesiastical mess, but also a global-political mess.
This is not an exaggeration, for Mary clearly said: “If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace. If not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions.” Do you see any peace in the world? Of course not. Therefore, there has been no valid consecration. And then this late in the game we are thrown the curve ball that the errors of Russia have become the errors of America.
Putin is building up the Russian Orthodox Church while certain Americans are putting up statues of demons in public places. Nevertheless, Putin is no saint and Russia must be converted to Catholicism, not Russian Orthodoxy. And because there was no consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by a Pope (with all the bishops) we now poise for the haunting words of Sr. Lucy to Fr. Fuentes in 1957: “The Most Holy Virgin… said that Russia will be the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world if we do not beforehand obtain the conversion of that poor nation.”
