Recently, Archbishop Viganò wrote, “Change – or better still, aggiornamento – has been so much at the center of the conciliar narrative that it has been the hallmark of Vatican II and has posited this assembly as the terminus post quem that sanctions the end of the ancien régime – the regime of the ‘old religion,’ of the ‘old Mass,’ of the ‘pre-council’ – and the beginning of the ‘conciliar church,’ with its ‘new mass’ and the substantial relativization of all dogma.”
Now, before everyone calls Viganò a “schismatic” for simply putting those two words “conciliar church” in scare quotes, we have to realize that some important clergy (who have never been called “schismatic” by modernist mainstream Catholics) also indicated that a counterfeit-church would eventually ape itself in place of the Catholic Church and ostensibly even front as the Catholic Church herself. For example, Bishop Fulton Sheen wrote “[The devil] will deceive even the elect. He will set up a counter church which will be the ape of the Church because he the devil is the ape of God. It will be the mystical body of the anti-christ that will in all externals resemble the Church as the mystical body of Christ.” Also, Padre Pio said, “It is Satan who has been introduced into the bosom of the Church and within a very short time will come to rule a false church.’”
I think we are now facing what Bishop Fulton Sheen called the “counter church” and “ape of the Church.” Did Our Lady of La Salette not predict an “eclipse of the Church” where the true faith would remain in the hearts of some people while the visibility of the hierarchical Church would be sunk? Keep in mind for all those who want to call me the same names they call Viganò that I am quoting the Mother of God, Padre Pio and even Bishop Fulton Sheen. Again, Padre Pio insisted true Catholics would soon have to face off with a “false church.” This doesn’t mean God’s Church has failed but that men (unprotected by any certain infallible charism due to being imposters themselves) would set up a counterfeit organization commanding people to obey in God’s name.
I frequently write about the difference between the Apostolic Catholic Church and the ape-of-the-church at the level of doctrine and liturgy. But I want to write about the difference in psychology today. Many people think the Church of the Middle-Ages was very heavy handed, but it doesn’t come close to the heavy-handed arbitrary-obedience demanded by those who run the counterfeit-church. What I mean is that Catholics in the past had to obey dogma, but they never had to respect heretics in the alleged-hierarchy.
Catholics in the past had to approach the sacraments as the Apostles had indicated centuries before, but they never were told to turn off their brains when coming to Mass. Nowadays, however, I am noticing that the leftists running the “ape of the church” demand a blind-obedience containing a nominalism (faith without reason) tantamount to only what imams might expect of adherents to their mosque in Islam. This is more than just “bad leadership” found during a few times in the “Dark Ages.” Rather, we’re facing a new and enormous cult occupying old Catholic Church buildings.
If you’re not following me, let me give an example: Two weeks ago, a friend posted on Twitter the question, “Leaving aside the question of authority, and the papacy aside. Who holds a more orthodox view of Catholicism, Francis or Vigano.” I looked through the replies. I was shocked to read that one of the replies read: “Francis, given he’s not just been excommunicated.” (Re-read that question and reply to grasp the aberration from the truth contained in such a reply.)
Quickly, I went to the replier’s Twitter profile, expecting to see that he was perhaps a Marxist or maybe underwent a recent lobotomy for which he was tweeting prayers. But no—no traumatic brain injury! In fact, he seemed to be a relatively devout and even conservative Catholic. This shocking answer made me realize that more than just certain leftist “Catholics” had been brainwashed into thinking ostensible-authorities could ever trump our Apostolic Faith and Liturgy. Yes, even conservative Catholics are being brainwashed by the counterfeit “church” to believe a single man can erase 2000 years of history, liturgy and dogma.
Then, last week (about a week after the above Twitter event) I was at Wahoo’s Fish Tacos and I saw this sign in the restroom. Honestly, I thought we were way past the CDC telling us how to wash our hands. But after washing my hands (not needing instructions because I don’t need a nanny State) I paused and studied the sign for a minute. I realized (as we all realized about three years ago but perhaps forgot) that the US government needs her citizens to need a Nanny-State before they can ultimately control her citizens into slavery.
You see, brainwashing requires the potential slaves to the State to eventually put away obvious questions like “Why do I need a sign telling me how to wash my hands?” The answer is simple: Positivistic obedience (aka nominalism) demoralizes you into not believing your lying eyes when all the evidence is to the contrary (such as your mother implying to you as a child that you won’t need a sign telling you how to wash your hands when you’re an adult if you listen well to her today.)
So also in the ape of the church, you don’t have to believe what your lying eyes are telling you on who is more Catholic—Francis or Viganò. Rather, now in the ape, excessive authoritarianism rewires subjects to live in fear not only of certain answers—but even certain questions. Neither the nanny-church nor the nanny-state will allow good questions. Why? Because there are no good answers to their arbitrary rules. (Think of how the Four Cardinals’ Dubia was never answered on heretical Amoris Laetitia.)
At this point, who fears being called names like “schismatic”? Perhaps only those same weak conservative Catholics who were afraid of lefty family members a few years ago telling them they would “kill grandma” if they didn’t take the covid gene-therapy made from aborted babies. Hence, only a zombie could reply to a question on Twitter on who is the most Catholic between the two bishops: “Francis, given he’s not just been excommunicated.” That’s apex-level brainwashing at hands of the nanny-church.
Yes, I realize it’s ironic that a traditionalist Catholic is saying the leftists are heavy-handed in demanding blind obedience not to the Gospel but Canon Law. In fact, it’s not canon law that they’re proffering, but their own narcissistic personalities. And that is exactly how Marxism works at the level of the State. Now we see that the Nanny-State has met her religious protagonist in the Nanny-church: The ape tells you to put True Catholicism on the Back Burner and to put Big Brother’s capricious “excommunications” on the Front Burner. Why can a true Catholic be “ex-communicated”? In Marxism and narcissism, questions only get you in trouble.
It’s like they both wish to say, “Look, silly—stop looking for reasons, because there are no reasons.” But again, notice: That’s how Marxism works, first in the State, and now in the Church (or rather, the Nanny-church here to babysit your brain and your heart with fear of “disobedience” looming over you should you think for yourself as a real Catholic for a minute.)
The nanny-church wants you to turn off your brain and pay no attention to evidence to the physical Resurrection of Christ, the deposit of the Faith from the Apostles who were all martyrs (including St. John in one sense) and believe that a 19-century-based Magisterium has been replaced by a random, newly improved Fiducia Pooplicans (which promotes sodomidical blessings, in case you forgot from just several months ago.)
Such an entity as the counterfeit-church puts obedience to an apostate ahead of obedience to the Blessed Trinity. Nanny-church offers a new religion, containing a new ritual and a new doctrine, with a leader as meek (and dark) as Sen. Palpatine. But please just don’t ask why it doesn’t line up with traditional Catholicism. The days of Benedict XVI’s “hermeneutic of continuity” are gone. Like the CDC, no questions are allowed here in Marxist-nanny-church. The hermeneutic of rupture has now ruptured itself, executing an auto-unmasking of its diabolical agenda.
The nanny-church is the Western effeminate arbitrary inverse to the Mid-East’s equally capricious religion that might command something like, say, oh… “Go fly two airplanes into the World Trade Center.” “Why?” “Because I—your imam— says so.” “Ok, we will obey without asking questions.” Yes, that is the type of Muslim willy-nilly obedience which clearly divorces faith from reason. (Notice “following your conscience” in flying airplanes into buildings won’t save your eternal soul.)
Also notice that the perennial Catholic hierarchy (before this current apostasy) has never demanded a lobotomy of her adherents. Why? because we believe there is a marriage of faith and reason and because we believe it is for “freedom that Christ has set us free.”—Gal 5:1. You should not be surprised there is no freedom of asking good questions in the Nanny church. Why? Because one toxic man is now put ahead of God (the very definition of a cult in any basic Christian sociology course.) Yes, I think we should call it “nanny-cult” instead, as there is only one Church, and it’s the Catholic Church, the spotless bride of Christ… and it’s not the nanny-cult.
The very next line from Galatians is extremely telling: “Stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Anyone telling you to replace Jesus Christ (and His traditional doctrine) with the unitarian-universalist teachings of one aberrant regime is pulling you into a slavery to satan.
For example, imagine a reply slipped into the Acta Apostolica united to Amoris Laytaytay where the “divorced” and “remarried” (without requiring an annulment or a Josephite living-situation preceded by confession) are permitted to sacrilege both the sacraments of the Eucharist and Marriage, and you must accept this sacrilege under pain of “ex-communication?” Which spirit wants you to sacrilege two sacraments? Clearly not a spirit with any power to excommunicate in God’s own name.
Before elite globalists (and their chaplain) fall at the arrival of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, they will try to increase fear among the average Christian through arbitrary measures demanding obedience to arbitrary commands (like Vigano is “ex-communicated”! Oh no!) But the charade of this divorce of faith-and-reason can only last so long. Then they will be uncovered for the criminals and apostates that they are. I hope this happens on earth precisely so they convert as I wrote in my article two days ago called How To Pray for the Enemies of the Church.
You don’t have to agree with me on the current state of the Vatican to understand that Fiducia or Amoris is tantamount to slavery to satan by the doctrinal evidence given above. Avoid it and stand strong, because Christ has come to set you free. Reject the heresy of modernism and embrace tradition—for this is Jesus Christ upon His life-giving cross granting you a future Resurrection if you obey that once-and-for all Catholic Church that He founded on St. Peter. Jesus Christ is the same—yesterday, today and forever. And so is His Church. It has nothing to do with the nanny-cult.
Thanks to all those who have decided to donate. I hope to build a real hermitage in the next five years.
