I frequently think that the return of Christ may be imminent, especially since it seems much of Matthew 24 has been fulfilled in the past 100 years and how much of 2 Thess 2 has been fulfilled in the past 10 years. But a dream (literally a dream) this past week pumped the breaks on that expectation. I decided against writing that entire dream here in my blog, and I certainly don’t claim it was a private revelation, but I can say that the joy, peace, truth, love and light in the life of Catholics in that dream reminded me of the following approved private revelations on the restoration of the Catholic Church:
Our Lady of Fatima to the three children:
“In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”
Our Lady of Quito to Mother Mariana:
“The free men from this slavery of heresies, those whom the merciful love of my most Holy Son will destine for the restoration, will have a great strength of will, constancy, valor and much trust in God. To test this faith and trust, there will be times in which everything will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration…Then will the Church, joyful and triumphant like a young girl, reawaken and be comfortably cradled in the arms of my most dear and elect son of those times. If he lends an ear to the inspirations of grace—one of which will be the reading of these great mercies that my Son and I have had toward you—we shall fill him with graces and very special gifts and will make him great on earth and much greater in Heaven. There we have reserved a precious seat for him because, heedless of men, he will have fought for truth and ceaselessly defended the rights of the Church, deserving to be called ‘martyr.’”
St. Louis De Montfort on the Thunderclouds of Mary:
“Attached to nothing, surprised at nothing, they will shower down the rain of God’s word and of eternal life. They will thunder against sin; they will storm against the world… They will be true apostles of the latter times to whom the Lord of Hosts will give eloquence and strength to work wonders and carry off glorious spoils from His enemies. They will sleep without gold or silver and, more important still, without concern in the midst of other priests, ecclesiastics and clerics. Yet they will have the silver wings of the dove enabling them to go wherever the Holy Spirit calls them, filled as they are, with the resolve to seek the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Wherever they preach, they will leave behind them nothing but the gold of love, which is the fulfillment of the whole law.”
